How it All Happens

First off, we’d just like to send out a big "THANK YOU!" to those who took the time to cast their vote on the Halloween Decorating Style poll. The results were pretty overwhelmingly in favor of the Spooky/Eerie Halloween decor, which I'm happy to say we can definitely deliver! Stay tuned for more fun polls in the future.

We have lots of ideas for future WOWindow™ Posters, and we're constantly brainstorming about what the next best thing will be. It takes a lot of hard work and planning on our end to make a new style come to life. We take careful steps toward the final product, creating the very best art for our idea. Our artists are extremely talented at capturing whatever mood we need, whether it be the eerie calm of Jason Voorhees™ or the rosy warmth of Santa Claus.

I thought I'd post a fun animation of the transformation process the art for WOWindow™ Posters goes through. This particular design was illustrated by the talented Vince Natale.

Isn’t it amazing how something as spectacular as our new Santa Claus II starts out as just a rough idea? Everything has to start somewhere. We value all the thoughts and ideas that go into making WOWindow™ Posters, and we’re so excited to hear yours. Thanks again for reading!

Something for Everyone

Hey everyone. Thanks so much for the votes on our Halloween style poll. Be sure to cast your vote if you haven't yet - 8 days left to get your opinion in!

We at WOWindows are thrilled to offer something for everyone. Our range in subject is so great, we're positive you'll find a WOWindow™ Poster that fits you perfectly for next Halloween.

If you like the happy/campy approach, you might be interested in our Silhouette Series. These posters are two-color silhouette designs showcasing the most classic Halloween characters: cats, bats, spiders, and ghouls. They are very effective for the total-house transformation, and at a great price point, too.

If spooky/eerie is what you're into, you might want to check out our Green Demon, Grim Reaper, or Wily Witch (just to name a few!). We have a lot of styles to fit the bill, here.

For terrifying/chilling decorators, there's nothing better than our licensed designs, Freddy Krueger™ and Jason Voorhees™, or our monstrous Werewolf. These characters are so life-like, they will scare the pants off your unsuspecting neighbors.

Lastly, if nothing but the most gruesome will do, you've got to check out The Bloody Screamer. What a nightmare – running and running but never escaping from internal demons. Looking for your final escape, you crash into these translucent windows not knowing what’s beyond. You shriek in terror as your hands, shredded by glass shards from the exploding false mirrors down hall, smear the impenetrable last hope for escape . . .
Yeah, you'll be "that house" on the block.

Thanks again for your interest and for taking the time to vote, letting us know your thoughts. We want to keep making the products you love! There are lots of new designs in the works here, so stay tuned for more fun.

I'll Get You, My Pretty...

We've done it again. If you thought our licensed posters in 2010 were a blast (Freddy Kreuger™, Jason Voorhees™, the Leg Lamp from A Christmas Story™), just wait until you check out our new Wizard of Oz™ styles!

Dorothy™ and the Wicked Witch™ face off in this incredible, classic pairing. This two-poster pack will offer customers the chance to illuminate their window with some of the big screen's most beloved characters. Perfect for Halloween, or any Oz-themed party, this duo promises all the beauty, charm, and fun of the original film, brought to life and on display in your very house!

Custom illustrated for WOWindow™ Posters, we believe this is one of the most striking depictions of Dorothy™, her dog Toto, and the infamous Wicked Witch™ of the West ever seen! What do you think?

Welcome, Santa Claus II!

We are so excited to welcome our new Santa to the mix this season! When brainstorming this new concept, we knew we had to go totally classic: warm, rosey-cheeked, and softly chucking, carrying a bulging toy sack. I think we hit the nail on the head, don't you?

His bold, rich colors will really light up your window; it's one of our most brilliant, luminescent yet. It's so real (better than real!) you'll think you've finally caught ol' St. Nick in the act! And even more exciting, we're hoping to extend this classic Santa to a two window poster for next year.

So are you on the naughty or nice list this year? Stay tuned for more updates from us, and thanks for reading!

Peel-Away Candle Reveals

We are very excited about one of our newest poster designs, our patent pending Menorah with Peel-Away Candle Reveals. This Menorah is fully (and safely) lightable and the first of many interactive WOWindow™ Posters to come. It's also huge, beautiful, and bright for Hanukkah. What better way to show your faith than to hang a 3' x 5' WOWindow™ Poster, illuminating the largest, most luminescent Menorah on the block right in your very window?

Here's a little animation of how the poster looks, as you 'peel to reveal' a new candle flame each night:

The flame cover up stickers are completely re-stickable, so this poster can be used every night of Hanukkah! Then, take it down, fold it, and store it in a cool, dry place for use next year. The first night of Hanukkah is right around the corner - Thursday, December 2nd!

Jason, Freddy and a Crazy Coincidence

We are in full production now for our Halloween and Christmas posters. So, on Wednesday Jaclyn was on press up north in Wisconsin for press approvals of Jason Voorhees™ from Friday the 13th on Wednesday, and then Freddy Krueger™ from Nightmare on Elm Street on Thursday. The report in was that they are both FANTASTIC looking, and will look great on homes this Halloween.

So, here's the crazy part. On Thursday night I was in Freehold NJ and happened upon a car cruiser night. In the main parking lot with all the show cars was this burnt orange panel van, done up entirely in a JASON vs. FREDDY theme, complete with two bubbles on the roof with each figure peering out! It was crazy to have just finished our printing production of these two characters and then run into a custom vehicle like this. BTW, nice job on the van, Steve, looks fantastic inside and out.

Practical joke #1: Werewolf stares shocks awakening frosh

My son Tyler, a freshman in college, freaked out his sleeping roommate recently. Imagine a very small room shared by two, barely an aisle between the beds and desks. In a recent care package I included one of our favorites, the Werewolf window poster, drooling and glaring with his yellow eyes, seemingly ready to pounce on his next victim!

So in the middle of a recent dark night, Tyler crept over Jake's bed and hung the Werewolf poster on the wall directly above the foot of Jake's bed. The joke worked perfectly, Jake awoke in the night, looked up at the glaring wolf, and let out a good scream!

All that and it wasn't even backlit!
